SLEEP
Sleep is essential for survival. Put simply, it's when our bodies repair and prepare. Sleep is when our cells repair and regenerate, our memories are formed and stored, our hormones regulate and our bodily systems recover; all so that we can wake up and continue to function optimally. Without adequate, good quality sleep, all other aspects of health will progressively diminish. Given the nature of our busy society, many of us often sacrifice sleep to accomplish other tasks and may not even realize the toll it is taking on our health.
